Iiris Elena Kosonen

Iiris is an Associate at Advokatfirmaet Østgård. Her master’s thesis examined fishing licences as proprietary rights and resource rent taxation in closed-access fisheries.

Iiris previously worked at the Norwegian Directorate of Fisheries, where she focused primarily on fisheries regulation and administrative matters under the Norwegian Marine Resources Act.

As an Associate, Iiris advises clients primarily on regulatory matters, as well as contractual and other legal issues relating to the fisheries sector.
